Pre-Blueprint Background: An economics graduate, Ronnie started his commercial life in retail with the 1,200 store group Fine Fare. During this time he had roles in managing stores, field operations and buying. He joined Mars Confectionery as an Account Manager in the travel sector, prior to joining Coca-Cola & Schweppes Beverages Ltd as an Account Manager in Food Service. He was then promoted to National Account Controller responsible for the Tesco account. He then joined Danone as General Sales Manager of the Biscuit division ‘Jacob’s Bakery’ prior to joining Scottish & Newcastle as Sales Director, latterly becoming Managing Director of the off-license division. He then ran a Management Buy-In of a Frozen Food business supported by 3i Venture Capital group and the Bank of Scotland. An acquisition followed and the Esk Group was formed that Ronnie ran as Chief Executive. In 1998 Ronnie sold his equity in the company and founded Blueprint Management Consultants. Ronnie is listed in the prestigious publication “The International Who’s Who of Business Professionals”
Blueprint Experience: Ronnie has been heavily involved with the full suite of Blueprint activities across most of our extensive client portfolio. His experience has had him operating across 50 countries and 6 continents in a multi-sector environment. Today Ronnie has the title Chairman and is responsible for quality control, developing the business and in supporting the client facing team of consultants.
Pre-Blueprint Background: Nigel’s extensive customer management skills & experience were gained in a variety of markets & trade channels. His practical, results focussed approach developed during progressively senior roles in sales, customer marketing & category management to Director level within Procter and Gamble, Courage, Golden Wonder, Danone and United Biscuits.
Since entering consultancy he has applied and built his sales capability expertise across multiple sectors including, FMCG, Foodservice, Healthcare, Drinks & Finance.
He has accumulated considerable international experience, having worked in nearly 40 countries throughout Europe, (including CEE), Middle East, Africa, Australia, Asia & North America on a vast range of projects
This depth and breadth of experience in highly competitive trading environments leaves him well placed to support the needs of Blueprint clients..
Pre-Blueprint Background: A Psychology graduate, Mark started his commercial life with Kellogg Company of Great Britain before joining Coca Cola & Schweppes Beverages Ltd where he held a number of roles including National Training Manager and National Account Controller. Mark then joined IDV as a Field Sales Controller before moving to Anheuser Busch [Budweiser] as National Account Controller Responsible for Pub-Mults. He then Joined King UK Ltd as Head of National Accounts before being promoted to Managing Director. The business was successfully sold in 2004 at which time Mark worked as a freelance management consultant before joining Blueprint
Blueprint Experience: Mark has been heavily involved with the full suite of Blueprint activities across most of our extensive client portfolio. An experienced track record of successful Strategy development. Experience in assessing skill gaps, benchmarking and introducing appropriate management coaching and training.
With an honours degree in Psychology and a passion for training Mark is a hands on problem solver with an open style and a good sense of humour. With wide international experience including European collaboration and residential periods in Belgium, France and South Africa Mark has extensive experience of refocusing, motivating and managing outstanding high performance teams by targeted group and personal development. Mark has worked in food, drink and B2B both FMCG and distribution industries, with customer knowledge spanning multiple grocers, high street, independent trade, cash and carry, wholesale, hotels, restaurant, pub, club, leisure operators, local authorities, outside events management, contract caterers, food-to-go and Business to Business.
Pre-Blueprint Background: An MBA Commercial Economics graduate, Erik started his commercial life with Rothmans Tobacco Company. During his 14 years of service with Rothmans he had roles in field sales, promotions, account management, area and sales management and as GM for the Rothmans business in the Canary Islands, where he set up the Rothmans Canarias sales and distribution organisation. He returned to the Netherlands to join Cadbury Schweppes as Sales and Marketing Director for Benelux and started working with McCain Foods in 2003 as Sales and Marketing Director for the Netherlands, and soon became Country Manager for the Nordics and Baltic States. He shifted his career to Learning and Development and ran the Global Commercial Learning department in McCain for 3 years.
Blueprint Experience: Erik has been involved with an important suite of Blueprint activities over the last 2 years in a number of countries with a wide range of customers from different sectors. He has the title Director of Capability Development and his language skills are fluently speaking Dutch, English, German and Spanish, combined with his vast and international commercial experience allows him to coach and consult customers and train the Blueprint suite of programs in various industries in many parts of this world.
Pre-Blueprint Background: Gail is a BSc Graduate in Biology and spent her early career in hospital laboratories working as a Biomedical Scientist. She gave up this career to become a full time mum and several years later retrained in office management.
Blueprint Experience: Gail has been involved in Blueprint from the start in 1998, and has expanded her role to become office manager. It is Gail who oversees all of our material production, logistics and internal finance functions…. Gail keeps us all on our toes!
